A roadside safety kit contains items that are helpful if a car stalls or experiences a problem such as a flat tire. Depending on the size of the roadside safety kit, some of its tools may include a wrench, pliers, jumper cables, flashlight, tire gauge, and reflectors. When a person is driving in the winter months a gathering of roadside safety items may also include an ice scraper and kitty litter to help with traction if the car is stuck in the snow.
